the main feature of my addon (disable JavaScript) and decided not to
provide an appropriate API. This left me with workarounds that would
slow down the user's experience on every page request while being more
difficult to implement and potentially maintain in the future. Other

More details on GitHub here and here. Enjoy :) QuickJava now works beautifully with Puzzle Toolbars (an awesome toolbar extension)Firefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-73563909682998501452014-04-29T19:18:00.002-05:002014-04-29T19:18:43.804-05:00Missing your Addon Bar?If you've just updated to FF29 or higher and suddenly you don't have your addon bar, that is because the Mozilla team removed it for you. They want you to use the other bars, which you can find instructions on how to do by googling "how to customize firefox toolbar" but what if you want your toolbar back? Read on for a solution...
I've briefly tried this one:https://Firefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-31902813322860366832014-01-23T09:06:00.000-06:002014-01-23T09:40:55.671-06:00Advanced Users: ClickToPlay (Beta)While developing the current version of QuickJava (2.0.3) I played a bit with the "ClickToPlay" functionality in Firefox. For those that don't know about this functionality, it basically disables Flash/Java/SilverLight but when a page tries to use one of them you get the option to click on the element to enable it for just that one element.
I was unable to get it working in time for Firefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-89284179230035062572013-09-30T21:59:00.003-05:002013-09-30T21:59:56.039-05:00Custom CSS StylesDave has provided some custom CSS styles for QuickJava 2, check them out over here:https://github.com/ThatOneGuyDotNet/QuickJava/wiki/Sample-Custom-CSS-CodeFirefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-57110647551954579102013-09-25T00:34:00.000-05:002014-01-23T09:41:15.768-06:00QuickJava 2.0

Welcome to QuickJava 1.8.1.1
Important Setup Information:
For both first time users and existing users alike that wish to use the toolbar icons rather than the add-on bar icons you will need to re-customize your toolbar. My apologies to existing users who lost these settings, I'll try not to do it again. If you need assistance with this, please see the page here:

I have updated the maximum version for QuickJava to 22.*
Since I do not have time to work on this problem there is a very good chance that users will not be able to use the extension after updating to FF23 when it is released. I will try my hardest to get the extension up Firefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-61413151265150991172012-07-03T19:34:00.002-05:002012-07-06T11:51:48.646-05:00Version 1.8.0 ApprovedVersion 1.8.0 s now available.

QuickJava is an easy way to enable/disable many features of Firefox with a configurable tool to help meet your needs. QuickJava was designed to be lightweight and easy to use with minimal configuration, it was not designed to be as extensive as NoScript, so it does not support features such as Whitelist/Blacklist for sites. Because it's functionality is so simple most functionality bugs are usually not a problem with QuickJava but rather with a plugin (such as Java or Silverlight) or Firefox itself.
To verify what is causing the problem, please follow the following steps Firefox Pluginshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14473671746051016187noreply@blogger.com35tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17969172.post-2410868122148037352010-03-10T09:52:00.000-06:002010-03-10T09:52:20.943-06:00Attention Linux users!I am aware of a problem when using the latest version for FF 3.6.
